DOWN TIME AT THE RANCH

The excitement over, it was down time at the ranch for the next two days.

Time for some coffee.

"Genius?"  Uhhh...yeah, OK, whatever...:-)

Time for some schem porn.

Time to mess around on the JK-MK6.

And there's always beer and beef--Jerry makes some really good steak tips, even in the rain.

And when the sun finally came out (on my last day there, of course), a drive down the street.

Yep, this is at the other end of Jerry's dirt road--a big beaver dam with a big pond behind it.  Although they do have various amenities in the towns nearby, the Mellotron Ranch is still pretty much out there in the sticks!

But as is always the case, my turn to depart came all too quickly.  I hate that!  On Monday afternoon I loaded the gear in the car and made my way the 200-something miles back to my home in Massachusetts.  It was an enjoyable weekend, if a bit rainy, and it's always good seeing machines restored to playing condition.  And, as always, a huge THANK YOU to the Korbs for their wonderful hospitality!
