MONEYPIT SOUTHWEST - May 14-20, 2004 When we last left our Little Nell, she had been tied to the tracks by our evil villain Dastardly Bastardly (hisssssssss!!!!)...and in the distance we could hear the train whistle blowing...getting closer, closer...louder, louder...until you could barely hear the screams of our poor Nell over the bellowing steam of the locomotive now bearing down upon the spot in the tracks where Nell was held fast... ...and it was on this train that Sharayah, the Mark II formerly owned by Mike Pinder, was on its way to California to its new owner (Frank Samagaio) after having been restored by Jerry Korb in Vermont. Unfortunately there was some shipping damage to the unit, fortunately mostly on the shipping case (that's why you buy a shipping case), and some things weren't quite right sound-wise when Frank received the unit, so it was probably knocked around a bit. Our dashing hero (Jerry Korb) dashed off to California (that's why he's our dashing hero) with Mrs. JK to rescue Sharayah---and to take in the sights and sounds of San Diego. WHAT did they find? WERE the repairs successful? DID the luggage ever make it? COMING SOON on... THE CONTINUING SAGA
